WHAT YOU'LL NEED
A gentle wool detergent (no fabric softener)
A towel for drying
An iron (set to low) with a thin cloth to protect the fibre
A fabric‐comb or gentle shaver (optional, for pilling)
WASHING
Fill a clean basin with cool or lukewarm water.
Add a small amount of gentle wool or cashmere detergent.
Submerge your garment and swirl it lightly — avoid rubbing or twisting.
Let it soak for 10–15 minutes to release any impurities.
Rinse thoroughly with cool water until all detergent is removed.
Press out excess water gently (never wring).
Lay the piece flat on a clean towel, roll it up to absorb moisture,
then reshape and dry flat on a new towel.
DRYING
After the wash, always dry your cashmere flat on a towel to preserve its shape and prevent stretching.
Avoid hanging the garments by the shoulders
hanging can distort the shape of the fine knit.
PILLING & IRONING
Natural fibres can pill over time, especially with wear.
To remove pilling: gently comb or use a fabric‑shaver onthe affected areas.
With correct care, pilling will gradually lessen.
To refresh the knit: iron on a low setting, using a thin cloth between the iron and the garment.
This helps the fibres settle and the garment regain its smooth look.
STORAGE & RESTING
After wearing a cashmere piece, give it a “rest” day
(around 24–48 h) to allow the fibres to recover.
Store folded in a drawer or on a shelf, rather than hanging,
folding preserves the shape and integrity of the knit.
